In the crowded market of severe asthma treatments, slight variances in blood eosinophil levels and allergic status can determine what biologic an HCP may choose for their patient. For TEZSPIRE, a latecomer to the severe asthma biologics space, this idea represented a large hurdle for them. Unlike other biologics, TEZSPIRE's unique MOA treats higher up in the inflammatory cascade, meaning that it is highly effective across a variety of patient scenarios — a foreign idea to many allergists and pulmonologists.
To help demystify the broad impact of TEZSPIRE across patient types, the team developed an interactive tool that allows HCPs to explore how the new biologic can help patients with varying biomarker levels and allergic status.
Utilizing post-hoc study data from the biologic's core studies, the team was able to pool results surrounding reductions in exacerbations, hospitalizations, and improved FEV1, demonstrating TEZSPIRE's unique ability to treat a wide variety of severe asthma cases.
Built as a key website tool, this interactive program has quickly grown legs across the TEZSPIRE ecosystem. It is featured prominently as a conversation enhancer for reps in the field, an interactive booth feature at congresses, and a primary MVA for drivers to the TEZSPIRE website.
